What is SongFromWithin?
SongFromWithin is a service that turns your story, memories and message into a personalized AI-generated song, to surprise someone you love for an important moment: a birthday, wedding, birth, tribute, and many more.
How does the personalization of my song work?
You fill out a guided form in a few minutes: the occasion, the person involved, your story with them, the message you want to convey, and your musical preferences (style, language, voice, emotion, duration). This information is used to generate unique lyrics, which you can review and edit before approval.
How long does it take to receive my song?
The standard turnaround is 48 hours after lyrics approval and payment confirmation. Priority 24h delivery is available with the Prestige plan.
Can I listen to a preview before paying?
You review and can edit the lyrics before payment, but the audio itself is only generated after payment is confirmed, since it uses dedicated computing resources for each order.
What happens if I don't like the proposed lyrics?
You can freely edit the proposed lyrics or request a new generation as many times as needed before approving and proceeding to payment, at no extra cost at this stage.
Can I request a revision or a refund after the audio is generated?
Yes. Every plan includes a number of audio revisions (1 to unlimited depending on the plan). If a technical issue prevents delivery of your song, you are fully refunded.
Will the recipient know the song was created by AI?
That is entirely up to you. The song belongs to you, and nothing automatically tells the recipient it was AI-generated unless you choose to share that yourself.
Is my information and the recipient's information safe?
Yes. The information you share about the recipient is used only to create the song. Your song is accessible via a private, unguessable gift link, never publicly indexed, that only you choose to share.
What languages and music styles can I order a song in?
The song can be written in French, English, Spanish and several other languages, independent of the interface language. Over 25 music styles are available, from pop to afrobeat to French chanson or salsa.
Can I schedule delivery for a specific date, like a surprise?
Yes, you can choose a specific delivery date and time in the last step of creation, ideal for timing the surprise with the occasion.
Am I allowed to use the song commercially?
Standard plans grant a personal-use license (listening, private sharing, personal social media). For commercial or professional use, contact our support to obtain a suitable license.
